The Blind Side

One of the more recent best films based on true stories, 2009 movie The Blind Side is the story of Michael Oher, a homeless boy who went on to become an NFL player due to the compassion of his adopted parents Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy.  The movie stars Tim McGraw and Sandra Bullock, who won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role.
