Jay Sean to Release New Album Nov. 2nd; New Single Coming August 3rd

MTV reports that Jay Sean's new single "2012," which hit online earlier this week, will be officially released to radio August 3rd, and the video, featuring Nicki Minaj, will premiere August 8th.  It's the lead single from Jay Sean's U.S. sophomore album, which is due November 2nd.

Though he released his U.S. debut, All Or Nothing, less than a year ago, Jay tells MTV he was already halfway through with his new album by the time "Do You Remember" became a hit.  That's why he's decided to go with "2012" for his next single, rather than pull another track off All Or Nothing.  He says, "I want to hit [fans] with something fresh right now."

Jay says the video is about "throwing the biggest party, celebrating life...It's basically going around the world, from London to Tokyo to New York, seeing people celebrating good times."
